PANAYIR ADASI - ISLAND It is not possible to visit the Panayır Island, also known as Ziraat Island in the past, if you don’t have your own boat or if you are not willing to rent one. To see the island up close, you can join the boat tours that start from the Altınkum Pier. These boats stop off in front of the island for a brief time and you can swim here. There is no time to tour the island. There is a church left from the Greeks before the exchange on the island. There is a reinforced concrete building of the ministry of agriculture right next to the church. The church was mortared probably during this construction. There is a yard wall that encloses the church and the building next to it, and there is a well in this yard. There is also a lighthouse on the highest point of the island.
